#27: And its not Crusade v/s Jihad

Dove World Outreach Center… A small, 50 member non-denominational charismatic Christian church in Gainesville, Florida has become famous worldwide all of a sudden. Reason: Terry Jones, a man behind, who wish to celebrate "International Burn a Koran (Quran) Day", during which church members would hold book burnings of the Quran, on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks…!

The oldest and simplest way to become famous is revealed once again in above act. It’s not when you feel comfortable, it’s to make others feel uncomfortable. It’s not an instant or insane action. It’s a planned, well organized strategy to get noticeable enough in the eyes of world.

In 2009, Dove World posted a sign on its lawn which stated in large red letters "Islam is of the Devil" and now it is going to higher level with the event of burning Quran. Terry Jones has however said that he hopes the event does not lead to violence. (Then why the bloody hell you announced the senseless event.) Jones says he regularly receives death threats since the event was announced. (And that’s what you wanted always huh…) Also since the announcement, the bank, where the church has a $140,000 mortgage loan, has demanded immediate repayment of the balance and Jones has also had his property insurance cancelled. (And still he’s happy because it’s not the church that matters to him, neither the Quran or Islam nor the innocent victims of 9/11. All that matters to him is fame at any cost…)

One act raises questions and all self praising intellectuals start arguing with statements like Bible says Crusaders massacred so many men, women and children in parts of Jerusalem that a Christian chronicler, Fulcher of Chartres, described an area ankle-deep in blood. While burning Jews alive, the crusaders sang, “Christ, We Adore Thee.” Or Islamic hadith, which are narrations considered “supplements” to the Koran, says The [final] Hour will not start, until after the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them. The Jew will hide behind a stone or tree, and the tree will say, `O Muslim! O servant of Allah! This is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’ But this isn’t right time of arguing that favors aim of a selfish, self-centered person without any ethics. For the sake of his own satisfaction, he is playing with emotions of people worldwide and tragedies keep repeating.

Hillary Clinton called the plans "outrageous" and "aberrational" and said they did not represent America or American values of religious tolerance and inclusiveness. "It is regrettable that a pastor in Gainesville, Florida, with a church of no more than 50 people, can make this outrageous and distrustful, disgraceful plan and get the world's attention – but that's the world we live in right now. It is unfortunate; it is not who we are."

The Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has stated that "Religious extremism, be it Christian extremism, Muslim extremism or any other kind, is never a true reflection of the religion".

Indonesians took to the streets to protest the event on September 4, with thousands, mostly muslims, taking part in events across the country. Rokhmat Labib, chairman of the Islamic group Hizbut Tahrir that organized the protests, called the planned book burning a provocation and predicted that muslims would fight back should it take place. Lahib said that Muslims must not stay silent when their faith is threatened.

General David Petraeus said "it is precisely the kind of action the Taliban uses and could cause significant problems. Not just here, but everywhere in the world we are engaged with the Islamic community." On the same day hundreds of Afghans had protested in Kabul against the planned Qur'an burning event, chanting "death to America" and throwing rocks at a passing military convoy. Military officials also expressed fears that the protests would spread to other cities.

And after receiving such kind of responses from all over the world, In addition to the Qur'an, Jones has stated that he also plans to burn copies of the sacred Jewish text, the Talmud. (So that he can gain further attraction from the world… Totally disgusting…)

This is where the issue leads. It’s not about burning Quran. Terry Jones may go for burning Bible too in future for the sake of media hype. (Like Stephan Hawking said about God and Universe… though it’s a different issue and nonviolent too…) The freedom to speak encourage some morons to have a platform and as I said earlier, all self praising intellectuals start arguing to show off the knowledge they never had which in turn results like 9/11. It’s just a mental illness that some extremist possesses or cold blooded fame seekers achieves. It’s war (And never a holy war) of humans not labeled with any religion. It’s blind religious followers that causes war and not the religions itself. It’s just some stupid Christians v/s idiot Muslims and not all of them of the respected religion. It’s not Crusade v/s Jihad and it can never be… - DJ.

#11: I M D I – Revealed behind the camera…

Under the label of I never criticize..., I’m going to criticize my own film I Might Did It (IMDI here after in the article.) today. A brave attempt it can be said to identify the slack side of own. I won’t say it criticism but actually a kind of confession of what went wrong while the making of the film. At the beginning of pre-productions, IMDI seemed to become a real blockbuster due to its blood-chilling, gripping screenplay, the music was already admired by the listeners and frankly a team, after successful two hits of Midnight Madness and Kuchh Manziley Aisy, was confidently looking forward for its hat trick. But… Difficulties started raining two days prior to shooting schedule when Mansi (Played Ishitaa in Kuchh Manziley Aisy), casted for role of Preeti Sengupta in the film, informed that she won’t be able to attend the shoot at the state when we were already missing Hardik. The screenplay, with no other chances left, was modified on the last night before the shoot started. I...

#16: On the Edge...!

A tough decision, I've taken to write this but... This is where I am right now... On the Edge...! It took 12 years and 4 months to begin the first step towards the destination of my life. In march-1998, my eyes saw a dream, a dream to become a Film Director, a dream of receiving Filmfair award and in reply to that a thanksgiving speech. (that i still murmur all the time, off course with some changes always.) A 13 year old boy had seen the future. Time went on and I started realizing that it's not easy to get in the industry. What to do now to get in? What if I give all the things for what a producer needs to hire many persons. I started composing songs. Stories were my companion since long and I believed (others too..!) that I can dance really well. So I had now story, screenplays and songs written as well as composed, and I can serve as choreographer, cinematographer and as an editor too. My confidence started boosting. I kept doing my work with my studies for next ten years...

#18: Case 9571_Mr. Johnson’s murder

It was raining heavily outside. Night was at its darkest. Sound of raindrops was echoing throughout the ambience except at house no 48, Schellingstraβe, Munich. “I don’t understand this at all.” Alfred murmured. “This dead body’s hands are burned, car seems scrap and god only knows why I became a cop?” “Never hate your job.” Henry said while entering inside the garage. “And don’t worry. We are here now.” “Thank god you are here.” Alfred said. “Where’s Mr. Jefferson?” “If his assistant is here, so is he too.” Henry replied. “He is having a talk with family members inside home.” “Let’s get in then.” Alfred said. They entered inside the home which was much like a palace while putting off their shoes outside as much mud was glued to them. A quite spotless hall looked sad. Kitchen was a bit chaotic. A lady was crying loudly on the couch besides a calm young boy with soiled legs. A maid was standing in a corner. And a man with a hat on his head and a pipe in his hand was sitti...
