#39: Case 8973_ Alibaug Double Murder Part I

Flight 764 Munich to Mumbai just landed on the Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport, Mumbai. It was early morning 03:45 hrs. “So, how was your flight?” Diwakar asked while positioning on the driver seat. He was looking good though in nightwear. “Pretty much like a flight…” Henry replied from back seat. He seemed a bit tired. “Relax Henry.” Derick said. “It was good Diwakar.” “I just don’t believe this Mr. Jefferson.” Diwakar was exited. “Since I’ve said to my family that you and Henry are coming to India for Jahnvi’s wedding, they all have gone mad. The world famous Derick Jefferson is attending his past student’s sister’s wedding. What else one would needed? Thanks a lot for coming sir.” “Don’t be Diwakar.” Derick replied. “The way you had insisted, I guess, it was difficult to deny. And it always feels great being to India and that too with a reason for celebration. I was needed to come for sure.” He smiled. “How your journalism is going on?...

#25: Case 7492_Elvira's Premonition of Death. Part II

Go to Part I He jumped the backyard wall and slowly walked ahead. The back door of kitchen was double locked so he went for the upside down sliding glass window and entered in. After stepping up the stairs for next few moments, he was in Emily’s bedroom. Emily’s innocent face was reflecting the rays of mast lights diffracted through the glass wall of balcony. He got nearer to her, pulled the knife out and raised it in air. “I won’t leave her…” Sound played in the ambience. “She wasted my life. Now she has to pay for her deeds. She too got to reach where her sister is. I won’t leave her.” The lights turned on. “Hold on Kurt…” Derick entered in the room. Emily opened her eyes. Henry and Alfred came out from the behind. “What the…” Kurt shocked looking at them. “Hell…” Henry finished his sentence. “Is straight ahead for you now…” “Drop that knife Kurt.” Derick said. “Game is over.” “Uncle…” Emily said. “I know him…” “Yes, you do.” Derick repl...

#24: Case 7492_Elvira's Premonition of Death. Part I

“Weekends are as refreshing as white sand beaches here.” Henry said while gearing car to the top gear. Traffic was not much on highway because of late night. They were driving back from Rostock to Munich. “We never have weekends Henry.” Derick replied with his heavy voice. “Some jobs aren’t time lined and we should respect that thing. Doctors, Fire fighters, Police all are sort of…” By the time his cell rang. “Mr. Jefferson…” A girl was there another side. “Elvira…” Derick identified her voice vacillating. “You seem tensed.” “I just had a premonition Mr. Jefferson.” She said reluctantly. “I had seen my death.” “What…?” Derick couldn’t believed his ears. “Elvira…” “I know it’s difficult to hear what I’m saying.” She said. “But someone gonna kill me tonight. I had seen my death in front of my eyes, my last premonition ever…” “Don’t panic Elvira.” Derick said. “We have just left from Rostock so will be there tomorrow morning but I’m calling Alfred. He’ll be ...

#18: Case 9571_Mr. Johnson’s murder

It was raining heavily outside. Night was at its darkest. Sound of raindrops was echoing throughout the ambience except at house no 48, Schellingstraβe, Munich. “I don’t understand this at all.” Alfred murmured. “This dead body’s hands are burned, car seems scrap and god only knows why I became a cop?” “Never hate your job.” Henry said while entering inside the garage. “And don’t worry. We are here now.” “Thank god you are here.” Alfred said. “Where’s Mr. Jefferson?” “If his assistant is here, so is he too.” Henry replied. “He is having a talk with family members inside home.” “Let’s get in then.” Alfred said. They entered inside the home which was much like a palace while putting off their shoes outside as much mud was glued to them. A quite spotless hall looked sad. Kitchen was a bit chaotic. A lady was crying loudly on the couch besides a calm young boy with soiled legs. A maid was standing in a corner. And a man with a hat on his head and a pipe in his hand was sitti...
