It was raining heavily outside. Night was at its darkest. A tough decision, I've taken to write this but... This is where I am right now... On the Edge...! It took 12 years and 4 months to begin the first step towards the destination of my life. In march-1998, my eyes saw a dream, a dream to become a Film Director, a dream of receiving Filmfair award and in reply to that a thanksgiving speech. (that i still murmur all the time, off course with some changes always.) A 13 year old boy had seen the future. Time went on and I started realizing that it's not easy to get in the industry. What to do now to get in? What if I give all the things for what a producer needs to hire many persons. I started composing songs. Stories were my companion since long and I believed (others too..!) that I can dance really well. So I had now story, screenplays and songs written as well as composed, and I can serve as choreographer, cinematographer and as an editor too. My confidence started boosting. I kept doing my work with my studies for next ten years...

Once again a brave decision to criticize my own movie Kuchh Manziley Aisy... in I never criticize category. Though viewers will say there's nothing to criticize in the movie, but as I did in IMDI, there is scope to think what else could have been done. (and why I didn't do that.) First issue is what many of D members too raised. Sad climax could have been more effective and would have left a good impact on the viewers. The suggested end was Erick reaches to Railway station, comes on an empty platform nd dives against the train coming towards him. The original track has sequence that Ishita comes by the time nd saves him. But many had an opinion that Erick should die in the end because the sequence that Ishita saves him by arriving there at the pinchtime seems very filmy nd isn't giving a serious impact of the hidden message of the movie. To justify my decision, I've one moment in my memory when hundreds of viewers had applaud that scene at screening in Surat. Ishita h...

Darduras are here... Darduras are there... These Darduras are everywhere...! First I need to explain what is Dardura? But the right question is who is Dardura? He/she is a kind of species of human being. You can say either is an alien that looks like human being. "Yatra dardura vaktarah, tatra maun hi shobhe chhe..." like of an ukti is there in Sanskrit. Which means when frogs are lecturing around you, better you keep silence. Hope now you have identified the Dardura as it's always there every next step of our life. The pity is you can't do anything with these Darduras. They are either your relatives or your elders or the ones you ought to respect. No wonder they have never been to Junagadh yet they'll advise you how to climb Mount Everest. They'll keep interfering your life untill you really feel there's no life in your life. You are angry. Actually I was been suggested to write a post on Bharat Bandh by Darshan but being post number 13, I was keen to write something about the history of 13 CityStreets Productions.
